Good day to you all. Well it has all changed and due to circumstances we have had to cancel The Misters Championships at Norwood park Golf Club. I have now made a firm booking for The Misters Championships at The Nottinghamshire Golf Club for Sunday 27 June and Monday 28 June 2021. I have to pay a £100.00 deposit, which I have, and the Club are allowing me to collect all the money and then confirm final numbers and make the final payment one month before the event. Exactly what we did at Boston West and it makes it easier for me to keep track on who is attending. If you wish for a single room then there is a £30.00 supplement to pay on arrival. For those wishing to attend but not stay overnight the cost is £74.00 for coffee, meal and two rounds of golf. I am not looking for any payments yet but if you do intend coming to the event then I would appreciate a heads up from you which would give me an indication of possible numbers. Email address davidjs30@sky.com Thank you all for your patience and cooperation in these trying times and lets hope that we can make it an event to remember with plenty of banter, good golf and a few beers or wines and great company. More details later. Take care of yourselves and your families

Hi to you all, I have spoken to Paul Thornton today, the Norwood Park GC Manager, regarding dates and he did point out to me that Sunday 20 June 2021 is Fathers Day. Not wanting to upset any family members of The Misters we are now going for Sunday 04 and Monday 05 July 2021. I have spoken with Mr Trump and Mr Biden and they are happy for us to play on Independence Day!!!! I have booked 12 tee times on the Sunday from 1200 hours and 12 tee times on the Monday from 1000 hours all at 8 minute intervals. The Sunday will be our usual Texas Scramble and according to total numbers will be either 3 or 4 ball. It is anticipated that all games should be finished within a 4.5 hour period so going for the dinner start at 1900 for 1930 hours. I hope to pay a visit very soon to discuss meals and sleeping arrangements. In the meantime make a note in your diaries and confirm your attendance if you can and also your playing handicaps which we can adjust closer to the date. I do of course have the list of those who have already paid and will publish that soon. Take care everyone of you and look forward to getting back together over a few drinks, subject to any restriction that may still be in place.

Kind regards

David Swaithe
