It is traditional for those attending to gather in the NMA restaurant from 10:30, this gives those how have travelled any distance time to take breakfast and connect with old friends and family.

The parading service men and women and members of the RAF Police Association form up and march to the RAF Police Memorial with the salute being taken by the RAF Provost Marshal – this year might also see the RAF Force Commander present. Timings for the day are:

There is no limit on the number attending and there will be some seating at the Memorial site. The front row is reserved for those laying the commemorative stone. During the service they will be presented with a commemorative coin to mark the occasion.

The NMA also provides a buggy service to convey those with infirmities to and from the Memorial site.

NB. There is a charge of 15.00 per person for those wishing to take Afternoon Tea after the service.  (It is not possible to pay on the day)
