I have been informed this morning that a former RAFP SNCO Graham Laird, has passed away.I have no idea when.
He was a CI man and I last saw him at ACS Hereford late 80ís as a instructor on GST 1.
His wife was Dot, WRAF admin, she is still alive from my info.

I have been told Graham died around 10 years ago from bowel cancel.  The funeral was in Middlesborough.

Graham and I were on the same basic course at Debden in 1971 (3 of 71). When I departed for Aldergrove in May 71 he went onto the Dog School. We kept in touch whilst I was still in the RAFP and he did in fact visit me and my family at Valley in 75/76 whilst he was stationed at Staxton Wold. I think that he went to Cyprus after that followed by Brampton when he got his Ďthirdí. I last spoke to him by telephone when he was a F.Sgt at RAF Sealand.

Graham was very much ĎA Man of Kentí.

RIP old friend
