Hi,

I'm writing from the BBC History unit in London and am currently working on a new series about war logistics. One of the stories we would like to cover is of demobbing returning troops, how best to intergrate them back into civilian life.

We would like to find a British WW2 veteran who was involved in the 1946 RAF mutiny in India (apparently there were up to 50,000) though this is not absolute, and would want to talk to them about the frustrations of slow demobilisation, their homecoming, the demobilisaiton process and about their eventual return to civilian life after the war.

If you can help in any way it would be most appreciated, please feel free to contact me at the email/telephone number below.

Kind regards,

James Parsons
