On this the 90th anniversary of the end of WW1 the war to end all wars

11th hour 11th day 11th month 1918

They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old,

Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn,

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them

We will remember them

Moth's prayer

My friends and comrades I remember them well.

They died that we on earth may dwell.

When the time had come for them to fall,

remember , remember they gave there all.

Burma Association

When you go home, tell them of us and say

for your tomorrows we gave our today.

Dear All,

The white berets and Standards of the RAF Police Association were seen all over the UK, on Remembrance Sunday and again on Armistice Day, by thousands locally and by many millions through television broadcasts.

All the above including members being interviewed, is hugely respectful to the dead and a great PR for the Association.  There have been several enquiries to Secretary David Wardell about how to join the Association from former RAF Police who only found we exist from seeing members on TV.

Many, many congratulations to all those members who singly and in groups, took part in the services and ceremonies.  This has been (another) memorable week for the RAF Police and the RAF Police Assoication.

Regards to all

John Walton
Chairman, RAF Police Association.
