Prize Breakdown - The Misters 2019:
All comments and suggestions from last year’s event have been taken into account and fully considered by the Committee.

To ensure that we encourage and achieve maximum playing numbers for the Monday competitions, the format for the Sunday round will revert to a Texas Scramble.

As this competition is now appearing to become more popular and competitive, the introduction of mandatory CDHI numbers from all ‘Current Competitive' handicappers is compulsory. All submitted CDHI numbers will be checked by a Committee member prior to the main competition on the Monday.

All those who meet the scrutiny of those checks will go into the main competitions (Category 1 and 2 - see below). All others will go into a non-competitive competition (Category 3 - see below).

There will be 3 categories:
1. Ex RAFP/Provost who have a validated CDHI current handicap;
2. Guests who have a validated CDHI current handicap;
3. Ex RAFP/Provost and Guests that do not have a validated CDHI current handicap. For those that fall in to this category, a sensible and realistic handicap will be agreed between the Committee and the individual to ensure fair and equal play is achieved.

In an attempt to balance the number of entrants in each Division the following handicaps list will be adopted:

Div 1 = 0 -11
Div 2 = 12 - 20
Div 3 = 21 - 28

Irrespective of Divisions, all competitors may only play/record a Medal or Stableford round; not both. This will enable those that have a high Medal score after 9 holes to change their individual game to a Stableford round. However, that decision to change from a Medal round to a Stableford round must be made before teeing off at the 10th and declaring that decision to all your playing partners. Those that do decide to change are to continue to record their gross scores and annotate clearly by inserting a capital S against their respective name on their scorecard. The resulting Stableford points will then be calculated by a Committee member when the card is handed in.
