Hello Mike,

Just a few lines to say thank you once again for your presentation of a wall shield from the Royal Air Force Police Association to the people of Wootton Bassett. Thanks also for the photos you e-mailed to us.

It was a real pleasure to meet you and the others and I was so pleased to welcome you here. As I think I mentioned to you, we are very pleasantly amazed by the kindness shown to Wootton Bassett by people such as you and the Royal Air Force Police Association who go to great lengths to demonstrate the support felt for us and for our military servicemen and women.

We will be very pleased and proud to display your wall shield.

My thanks again and very best wishes,

Paul Heaphy

Mayor of Wootton Bassett
